6 Great Coffee Shops in W6 (All Within Reach of a Morning Walk or Workout)

W6 is more than just a postcode — it’s a rhythm of riverside walks, early gym sessions, and long chats over coffee. Whether you’re post-Hyrox, mid-laptop hustle, or just in need of a slow morning flat white, these independent coffee shops offer some of the best cups in Hammersmith.

We’re spoilt for choice — but here are six favourites that keep us caffeinated and coming back for more.

The Elder Press
The Elder Press

1. Another Brother – The New Kid on the Block (And Already a Local Favourite)

📍 23 Black’s Rd, W6 9DTJust around the corner from us at REVIVAL, Another Brother is a fresh addition to W6 — and it’s absolutely nailed the vibe. Bright, airy interiors meet baristas who know their beans. They serve up Assembly Coffee with skill, and the pastries are worth a detour.

Why we love it: It's quickly become the go-to post-training stop for coaches and clients alike. Grab your long black and debrief your session.

2. The Elder Press Café – Artisan, Minimalist, and Riverside Cool

📍 322-324 King St, W6 0RRTucked between Hammersmith and Stamford Brook, The Elder Press blends East London aesthetics with West London ease. Think natural wood, Scandi tones, and the smell of freshly ground coffee. Food-wise, everything’s seasonal, sourdough-based, and impeccably done.

Top tip: Order the labneh toast with poached eggs. Ideal after a long run on the Thames Path.

3. Truth – Clean, Crisp, and Always Consistent

📍 22 Beadon Rd, W6 0DALocated just by Hammersmith Station, Truth is a sleek café for people who take their coffee seriously. It’s small, calm, and efficient — just how we like our early mornings. Expect perfect pours and a peaceful spot to think, read, or work.

Don’t miss: The cinnamon buns (they go fast).

4. Brook's Counter & Table – Friendly Vibes and Comfort Food

📍 86 Fulham Palace Rd, W6 9PLA short walk from the gym, Brook’s is like your favourite jumper: warm, familiar, and totally satisfying. It's low-key, community-led, and quietly does some of the best brunch in the area. Coffee is strong, service is warm, and dogs are always welcome.

Pro move: Go for their banana bread with a side of scrambled eggs and chilli jam.

5. The Coffee Station – Hidden in the Park, Big on Local Love

📍 Inside Ravenscourt Park, W6 0UJBlink and you’ll miss it, but this small café near the tennis courts in Ravenscourt Park is a saviour for runners, dog walkers, and weekend wanderers. It's affordable, friendly, and pairs beautifully with a sunny park bench.

Perfect for: Grabbing a quick flat white mid-run or after a few hill sprints in the park.

6. Lala Land – Coffee, Colour, and Creative Energy

📍 18-20 Hammersmith Broadway, W6 7ABNot your typical café, Lala Land adds colour and flair to the W6 coffee scene. It’s open, sociable, and equally good for catching up with friends or knocking out some admin. Good coffee, good food, and a genuinely unique feel.

Try this: The peanut butter latte is unexpectedly brilliant.

BONUS LOOP: Run. Refuel. Reset. If you’re building the perfect W6 morning, try this:👟 Start with a jog across Hammersmith Bridge☕ Loop back for coffee at Another Brother or The Elder Press💪 Hit a session at REVIVAL (SGPT or Open Gym)🌳 Cool down with a walk in Ravenscourt Park🍳 Finish with brunch at Brook’s or Truth

Part of the W6 Rhythm

We built REVIVAL to be more than just a gym — we’re part of the local flow, just like these independent cafés. Supporting good coffee, good people, and a good sweat session? That’s the kind of lifestyle we can all get behind.
