The Common Cold - Increase your recovery speed...

With Covid-19 and other common cold viruses going round at the moment it’s important to stay on top of your recovery so you’re not down and out for too long. 🙏


Although there is no cure for the common cold, there are ways to speed up recovery 🤔



1️⃣ STAY HYDRATED - warm lemon water, electrolytes/salt, bone broth. ✅

2️⃣ REST - give your body time to rest and heal.✅

3️⃣ WARM LIQUIDS - Honey, Ginger, Turmeric and lemon tea combo works a treat. ✅

4️⃣ SUNLIGHT - a light walk whilst getting some sunshine will have numerous benefits. If you’ve got COVID stay in your garden ✅

5️⃣ COMBAT CONGESTION - saline nasal drops and sprays can help relieve stuffiness and congestion. ✅

6️⃣ NUTRIENT DENSE DIET - eat plenty of fruits and vegetables for the antioxidants which will help boost the immune system. ✅

7️⃣ AVOID ANTIBIOTICS - These attack bacteria, not viruses. In this case will do you more harm than good. ❌

8️⃣ AVOID INTENSE EXERCISE - Your body is using all its energy to heal itself, stressing the body additionally will slow down the healing process. ❌
